Thankful Sunday....

I know today is not Thursday, but I am in a grateful state of mind, and would love to spout off some things that I am thankful for today!

I am thankful.....

1. For toddlers who test my flexibility! Lily refused to wear her very pretty Christmas dress tonight at her Christmas play, and I got the chance to just blow it off and not worry about her wearing her jeans and sweatshirt with her angel wings. I really am very thankful that God is using her two-year-old-ness to grow me up in flexibility because I wasn't really that flexible before :)

2. For our simple and gorgeous Christmas tree. I adore white lights (they are super classy) and I love the cranberry red and silver balls hanging all over it. I love how festive it is!

3. For afternoons spent cuddling on the couch with Benjie, huddled under a warm blanket and watching a movie.

4. For Silk Soy Eggnog, which allows me to enjoy one of my favorite seasonal beverages while forgoing the stomach ache that accompanies regular eggnog and allows Sadie to stay happy too :)

5. For my family's Christmas craft day, which was yesterday, where us girls get together for an afternoon of drinking eggnog (or soy-nog) and making Christmas crafts!

6. For my mom (a.k.a. Nana) who is always helping us out with buying the girlies things that they need (like last minute Christmas stockings and shoes that match the Christmas dress Lily refused to don tonight lol!!!)

7. For The Message Bible. I love this version because it makes the scriptures leap off the page in significance to me.

8. For great friends that you know you can just drop your kids off at their house for a nap in total last minute situations!

9. For the soft ginger cookies that I enjoyed tonight after the kiddos Christmas play.

10. For beautiful photographs that capture my imagination and allow me more of a glimpse into the deep realms of beauty hidden in the Most High!
