Thankful Thursday

Wow, isn't there soooo much to be grateful for? :)

On this fine spring Thursday, I am thankful for:

1. The spectacular weather! Who couldn't smile on a day as cheerfully, sunshiny-yellow as today is?

2. PBS kids. Lily has had a high temperature the past two days, and PBS kids has kept her entertained so that she could stay put and rest on the bed I made for her on the couch.

3. Struggle. Isn't it awe-inspiring how Jesus will allow us to struggle so that we come out so much stronger?

4. Process. I am learning to embrace process and accept the fact that the most glorious experiences and achievements in life involve a long-term process. It's about the journey, not the destination, right?!

5. My small home. We have lived here for two years, and as the time draws near for us to move out, I am already beginning to feel a sadness at the loss of this little home that has been our very own for this short time. A lot of the foundation of our marriage and family has been built here, and I am so very thankful for it!

6. New beginnings. There are a lot of new beginnings going on and coming up for us, and that is always exciting.

Thank you, Jesus, for my family, friends and life!!!

Yeah Megan!I LOVE the background and I love your thankfulness. I am so excited for you as you move from one season of your life to the next. This is an adventure for you and your awesome family. You have established the Danquah family here in Durango but "oh the places you'll go... " in the next season of all of your lives. I am so psyched to hear about it and support you in it. God bless you girlfriend. I am thankful for you and your example this Thursday. YOU ROCK! lv, jen

I love the background too. So glad you're back to blogging! We've missed you! Have to say I agree with PBS kids. No commercials and basically good programming. Love it! Hope Lily feels better.
