Oh yeah, couldn't wait to blog about this one.
Don't you just love it when you are potty training your toddler and they haven't got the whole pooping-in-the-potty thing down yet, and every time you put them down for a nap, they poop in their underwear and then you have to creatively pull the undies down, oh-so-carefully so as to not get the poop on them because, if you do, they will scream bloody murder because they are afraid of their poop?
And don't you just love it when, after all that is over, you put a pull-up on said toddler and put them back down for a nap and after an hour-and-a-half of them obviously playing and definitely not sleeping they begin to yell your name, and you figure you should probably go check on them because this is unusual and you go in to their room to discover that they have taken off their pull-up and pooped all over the floor?
And don't you just love it when you didn't see the first bit of poop on the floor and you step in it, without your knowledge, and proceed to track it several different places on the bedroom floor as you are trying to carefully avoid the other bit of poop that you did see?
And after realizing that you have poop on your shoe and are tracking it all over the carpet, don't you just love it that you have to run to the bathroom, grab several squares of toilet paper and pick up the smashed-into-the-floor poop and flush it down the toilet and then run back to your toddler and wipe her sweet little bottom with wipes, then grab a washcloth and start scrubbing all that smashed poop off of the floor?
And, finally, don't you just love to have to take your nice tennis shoe and scrub the bottom of it to get all the poop off with a finely bristled brush and you think you would get some peace and quiet after that, but your toddler never ends up taking that much coveted nap?
Don't you just love that? I sure do......

Oh no. Oh, no. Give her a washcloth and let her clean. No one likes to pick up poop and maybe she won't do that again.
Oh no.
THIS IS HILARIOUS! Jerome had to do the same thing during small group tonight! Gotta love the toddlers. Just remember, someday they will be adults, and they will poop in the toilet and wipe themselves and take care of their own personal hygiene. Someday...
This made me laugh out loud. I guess it is nice to know that all mommies get the privilege of doing this at one time or another.
ha ha ha!! I know it's not funny..but oh, it's SO FUNNY!! I read this one outloud to Adam....
I gotta read this to Mark! We have so been there! Maybe not exactly but in other ways. One time one of my children was standing up to pee (betcha can't guess which one...) and thought he would toot but ended up pooping all over himself, the floor etc... That was fun. I love it when we get to do the most disgusting things ever and then laugh about it.
