In five short days it will be time to wave farewell to The River Church and in seven-and-a-half weeks it will be time to depart Durango and embark on our next journey in Los Angeles. We have served on staff at tRC for the past three-and-a-half years. Between Benjie and I, we have done Master's Commission, Engage college ministry, Worship, Finance Team, Prayer, and I have led a small group. We started off our time in Durango by getting married followed by bringing into this world two precious baby girls. It has been an amazing season, one of which I would never, ever, ever want to give up
.
Oh Jesus, I sit before you with my heart full of joy over all the grace you have poured out on us in this season. Grace to accept and embrace challenges, grace to make it through day by day with no sleep, grace to look deep within and face who we are. Grace to enjoy you each and every single day. Grace to make intimate friendships. Grace to wake up each morning and declare to you that we only want what you want. We have been here out of honest and loving obedience to you, and over time you have begun to show us the intricate and beautifully woven plan that you had for our time here. It has been something that we could have never imagined or dreamed of.
Jesus, as my family and I close out this season, I see that we are enriched as people. Had we not followed you here, we may not have gained understanding of some of what it means to persevere, love, press on, press in, never give up, process through, communicate, reach within, reach out, listen, wait, trust, and hope. We have laughed the laugh of children, we have cried bitter tears, we have cried sweet tears, we have danced, shouted, and we have fought. We have fought most in reaching out and grabbing all that you had in store for us here.
What a remarkable time. What a remarkable place. What remarkable people. The River Church and Durango have left a gorgeous and personal mark on our souls. Our hearts will forever bear the altar built to you in praise and worship of the work that you have done in us in this place.
Thank you forever my Jesus.

I love, love that we got to work with you both. It's so fun to see you as an adult Megan, and see how much God is using you. Thank you! And your husband is awesome. He is just so perfect for you.
I pray God blesses your sweet family unbelievably in the future. I love you!
