Thankful Thursday

This smiley face is honestly how I feel this afternoon!

This week has been a week of humility and honesty, and that in itself is so refreshing to this soul!

Today, I am thankful for:

1. A husband who truly believes in me. Who truly supports me. Right now I am on a healing journey. And he is right there beside me to tell me that I can go all the way with it, even when it is hard!

2. The River Church and Pastor Dwight and Linn. Our time is so close to being done there. I can't believe it. It is truly bittersweet to leave the people that are our family and friends and move away. I am so thankful to Dwight and Linn for giving Benjie and I a chance; hiring us and giving us opportunity to be in the season that we have been in! What a delight it is!

3. My two girls. They are sooo different! I am thankful for Lily's independence and her driven nature. I love her age; always prancing around and dancing around and saying the cutest things :) I am thankful for Sadie and her sweet disposition. She is a real lover; always wanting to interact with people.

4. Nap time every afternoon when I get to listen to absolutely nothing if I so choose! I get to be quiet, reflect on life, get hugs from God, and read the Word. It is the best break in the middle of the day.

5. Having curly hair! I get to spend a maximum of 5 minutes on my hair each morning and it looks great and has a really fun, wild edge to it naturally! Gotta love that :D

6. Rain. I am rain's no. 1 fan, I swear! When I hear the sound of rain falling, my heart leaps with joy within me, for reals! I have an instant smile on my face that just won't leave. It is always a huge boost for me and a time to just relax and zone out to the incredible sound of water hitting the ground. I love it!

7. Time in the morning to work out. And exercising in general. When I start, I just can't get enough of that endorphin rush and that satisfaction of having pushed myself harder than I did the last time. I love that I can feel the blood coursing through my body after a good workout; my muscles tingle with alive-ness and I love that!

What are you thankful for this awesome Thursday?

Oh sweet Megan. I am thankful for you. For your honesty, your transparency. For your contagious laugh, your sense of humor. I am thankful for you two precious girls and amazing husband (even if he does like Kobe). You are a treasure!
