Sisterly Love

Sadie is now getting old enough (she will be one in a little less than three weeks) that her and Lily have started playing together a lot. About three weeks before we moved to L.A., we began putting them in the same room together to sleep and that has also helped their play time :)

The other day, Lily and I went to wake Sadie up from her morning nap, and this is what we found:

Now, please bear in mind that this is very typical of our baby daughter. She LOVES to sleep with her blankie, and it has to be wrapped around her head or over her face for her to get true enjoyment out of it! She does this on her own and has preferred sleeping this way since she was a newborn and the only way we could get her to sleep was to lay a blanket over her face while she was in her baby swing.

I let Lily wake her up.

And then Big Sister got in the crib.....

Let the wrestling games begin!

This is sooo much fun Mom!

Okay, we'll pose if we haaaave to :)

I love playing with my sister!

Look at my toothy grin :)

Hi cutie pie!

My sweet Lily

Lily loves to sing songs. One of her Sunday School teachers in Durango at The River Church taught them this song, which for the longest time, I could not understand what the lyrics were. She would do these motions and sing this:

"Slippery fish, slippery fish, slippery fish, slippery fish, got eaten by a mungus whale, a mungus whale...." Such a cute song and when I realized that she was trying to say humongous whale, it became even cuter! She is a joy and I so love being her (and Sadie's) mommy!

I love the pictures! Sadie has so many teeth! Go girl!

Wow, I really miss them. Tell Lily I miss her and wish I could get a big hug from her. We think about you guys often and are praying for all you're doing.

Love you guys!
