A Blog With Substance

A couple of weeks ago my good friend Kristin gave me for an award for my blog!  It is an award for having a blog with substance.  I am honored to have someone think that my blog goes deep.  It is my aim to be real.  This award comes with two rules: 1. To sum up your blogging philosophy in five words or less, and 2. To give the award away to five other blogs with substance.

So, here is my blogging philosophy: Reality and transparency with creativity.  I'm proud of myself that I could do that in five words!  Ha :)

I know that the five other blogs I am going to give this award away to are blogs who have probably already received it, but I would like to honor them anyway! 

Blog #1 with substance: Tiffany at Jerome's Women.  I always thoroughly enjoy reading your blog, Tiff.  It is rare for me to laugh out loud because of someone's writing, but I laugh out loud frequently when I read yours.  It is a combination of what a good writer you are (I can literally hear you saying the things you write) and the content of your posts.  Thanks for being willing to be vulnerable to your audience too!

Blog #2 with substance: Jill at Durango Palmers.  We have been friends for over ten years and have worked together, had babies together (her third and my second were even born on the same day!) and done lots of life together.  I love keeping up with your life girl.  Don't apologize for all your pictures either :)  I love seeing your beautiful family's faces!!  Thank you for sharing the deep things of your heart and for being such a consistent blogger! 

Blog #3 with substance is my beautiful friend Kristin at Sunflower Eyes.  Right back at ya girl :)  I am inspired by you in so many ways and I love the creativity you bring to your blog by including incredible photos of your family and your amazing writing.  To me, your blog is a direct reflection of who you are: Meaningful, beautiful, creative!  Love you!

Blog #4 with substance is Linny at A Place Called Simplicity.  My husband and I worked for Linny and her husband for four years and it was an invaluable season for us.  I love hearing about your life, Linn!  I love seeing your children's faces, reading about your adventures as a mom of a large family and reading your advice on how to keep things simple!  Write on girl :)

And, last but certainly not lease, Blog #5 with substance is The Kline Family.  Jen, you have a brilliant way of relaying simple truths about God in a very real and deep way.  I admire your passion for God, your family, and your ministry.  I appreciate how you are able to remain so real through all of that!  You are a woman of substance!
